Transport Alain Giroux joins the large family of Transport Hervé Lemieux following a successful acquisition.
The company relocates to La Prairie into new facilities. The fleet now includes more than 70 trucks and 180 trailers. Management sets up indoor and outdoor warehouses. The property now spans nearly 600,000 sq. ft.
The company moves to 345 Chemin Saint-François-Xavier in Delson, providing all the necessary space for the company’s current operations.

The company moves to 332 Saint-François-Xavier in Delson, on the outskirts of Montreal, on a 50,000 sq. ft. lot.
The company already has 5 trucks. It is also at this time that Alain Giroux hires his first dispatcher.

In 1996, Alain Giroux establishes Transport Alain Giroux & Sons in Carignan on the South Shore of Montreal to meet the growing demands of his clientele. At this time, the company has 1 truck and an 8,000 sq. ft. lot.
The founder of Transport Alain Giroux, Alain Giroux, began his career in the industry within the family transport business in Saint-Hubert in 1980.
